Meet Doress Naffaa

Physiotherapist by profession. Physiotherapist by heart.

I’m Doress Naffaa although almost everyone calls me Doudou.

With more than 25 years of clinical experience, I am a McKenzie Certified Practitioner specializing in spine, back and neck rehabilitation, with advanced expertise in pelvic floor rehabilitation and pediatric physiotherapy, particularly for children with special needs.

My clinical journey has taken me through musculoskeletal rehabilitation, obstetric and gynecological physiotherapy, women’s health, and specialized pediatric rehabilitation.

Today, these experiences come together in one philosophy:

This is the thinking that led me to develop The Regulation Method™. My signature approach to understanding the body, movement, pain and nervous-system regulation as part of the bigger picture.

The Regulation Method™

A Different Way to Understand Your Body

After more than 25 years of clinical experience, I learned that sometimes the answer isn’t another exercise.

Sometimes the body needs to be understood before it can change.

The Regulation Method™ is my signature approach, bringing together clinical physiotherapy, McKenzie principles, movement, the biopsychosocial understanding of pain, pelvic health, and nervous-system regulation.

It is designed to help you understand what may be keeping your body in a cycle of tension, pain, protection or disconnection and create a more individualized path forward.

Assess. Understand. Regulate. Restore.

This is the right system for your body

This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about understanding what your body needs.

What if your body has been stuck at a RED light… and you keep telling it to GO?

My approach first looks at the factors contributing to your body’s protective response then builds the conditions for movement and recovery.
